Chemical Technology and Biotechnology is an international journal publishing studies of general chemistry, chemical technology, chemical engineering, chemical biology and biotechnology including experimental and computational studies. Articles are published online as soon as possible in form of downloadable pdf files. Occasional topic-focused special issues are also published with approval from the Editorial Board.

Article types are: 
  • Review article (15-30 standard A4 pages*)
  • Communication (with experimental data, 3-4 standard A4 pages*)
  • Normal article (6-12 standard A4 pages*) *Standard page contains approx. 1800 characters
Normal articles also known as full papers are original research papers reporting new discoveries that lead to a deeper understanding of any aspect of covered by the journal scope. Full papers are invited in the following sections, but these are not exclusive:
  • Chemistry and chemical technology
  • Chemical engineering
  • Biotechnology in chemistry

All of the published articles are Open Access - Articles are freely available to the public.
